I walked in to Cathay bank on last Saturday before they close , Ms. SuMei lin was a very professional banker . I was very pleased with my visit and satisfied ! However , there was a lady seems to be the manager on the phone so loudly with the client , I wish they could speak on the phone more privately .and quietly to consider other customers who around them .

Very patronizing customer service. My bank puts a 10 day hold on all Cathy bank checks (wonder why?...) and they don't like to cash their own checks, lose-lose dealing with them. It's a 10 minute 'sales pitch' to the teller and about 3 managers every time, having to explain multiple times why I don't want to 'just open an account with us' so they can charge me fees. I avoid dealing with this bank, at any level, at all costs.
