  Centennial turned me down for a free checking account because of money I supposedly owe to a bank I've never had an account with and never heard of. I called the banking info clearinghouse Centennial sent me to and got some lady in the Philippines I honestly could not understand what she was saying. When I called back a second time, I got some guy in India that wanted my soc sec number and other personal info. Centennial didn't care and basically don't want me as a customer based on what some computer with bad info told them and they don't care about helping people or being automotons and doing what the computer tells them to do.

  I am an accountant and so have dealings with many banks both local and national. Stonegate is at the top of my list for 2 reasons: 1. Customer Support. It is important for a business to have a relationship with their banker and Elsie, Lee, and Wanda top my list in that category. They understand the needs of their business clients and go out of their way to help. You'd think you were at Bailey Brothers Building and Loan. 2. Online Bill Payment System. Though a bit cumbersome to use this feature is second to none in function. In addition to mailing a check you can schedule next day ACH payments! This is a great feature for businesses with many payables. It reduces float time from weeks to 1 day. And you can choose the account to pay from. A great feature. Well Done Stonegate!
