  this has to be the worst title company in the business. I have never ran into so many problems and lack of communication which is essential to get loans, title work, survey etc. done in a timely manner. I had 2 land purchases that was tied up for 3 months trying to close. had to get 3 and 4 amendments to the original contract because of delays caused by the title company. Kim never reached out and called anybody when additional information or documents were needed. Between me, the bank and the surveyors communicating regularly we probably would have never gotten anything done. you have to constantly call these people to check on status. this is not my first loan but it will be my last going through central title in Kilgore tx. i have always had good luck with U.S. title but the seller chose the title company for us.

  I only gave them one star because there's no way to give them any less. Realtors beware! This is the worst title company I have ever encountered. Everything was a problem for them. There was no communication from them at all (my client had to tell me when closing had been scheduled), they won't order a survey (which every other title company I have ever worked with will do) and they refused to overnight my check to me because as Kim Akins said "I'm not going to spend $35 to send you a check". The worst possible customer service you could imagine. There has got to be a better option in Kilgore. I'll never use them again. Never.
