  My experience with Century21 premier group was anything but “premier”. Thankfully I did not choose this company to represent me as my realtor. I did have the very unfortunate experience of dealing with them as the seller’s realtor. If we hadn’t loved the house as much as we did we would have backed out of the sale. The realtor we had to deal with, Terry Mante, is very clearly poor at his job. He was lazy, did not respond to calls and then made up excuses for his poor work ethic. My realtor called him multiple times on what is clearly listed as his cell from this snip of his professional info (attached). He later claimed he had not received the voicemails and that she must have been calling the wrong number. He claimed that it was not listed as his cell number in his professional info also. He hired a work crew to come into the house I was buying to paint AFTER we had the inspection and did not inform my realtor or myself. This alone upset me as the color is ugly and I did not want the painting done. But on top of that the painters made a huge mess of the house. The got paint all over the siding, the linoleum floor in the house and on the trim inside and outside (see photos for proof). His painters left their trash in the garage and left their paint garbage in the house. When we asked him to contact the seller to ask for compensation for the damage done to the house after the inspection had occurred he dodged our calls and then didn’t show up for the closing so that he could avoid dealing with the mess he caused. When I was finally able to talk to him in person he refused to acknowledge that the painter’s did a terrible job and would not offer any compensation for the mess he created. Had he contacted the seller as was his responsibility as a realtor he perhaps could be considered off the hook but he decided not to even contact the seller to let them know about the problem. I strongly recommend that you avoid this real estate agent at all costs. I will be filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Attorney General's office and the Wisconsin Realtors Association.
