      I am trustee of my parents' estate and was looking for a reliable custodian, with good online tools and reporting, and responsive service. I was not getting this from (big commercial bank trust group), and had gotten pretty frustrated. Schwab, in particular Cherie Ramirez in the Lincoln Park office, made it easy. She assisted with the account set up and funds transfer and got the forms submitted right away. She arranged for check-writing and other helpful features. She answered every question promptly and fully. It was a huge relief and welcome change from what I was experiencing at the other bank. Schwab made it simple, fast and stress-free.

      Customer service here is bad! Usually they are not available when you need and hang up on you in the middle of the conversation.

      Front desk person did not make me feel welcome, repeated that I need to go online as they rushed me out the door. This is a great company, but bad customer service sold me in the other direction.
