      The place is very safe, spacious, etc, even the PD is across the street, the only complaint I have is the horrendous smell in the ATM room.

      This Chase Branch in Elmwood Park, NJ is one of the worst branch, has unhelpful and lazy employees. I usually don't make comment or get upset, but it happened to me few times and I guess it's enough. I needed to notarized a single page, one guy told me wait about 10 minutes as soon as he finishes he'll take car of it, after waiting that long a lady came up and said they need to make an appointment and come back later. As a bank if your employees don't want to do these service just say you don't provide instead telling people go now, come back later or never come back. When I go to Capital One it gets done without any issues, Chase has bad customer service

      Avoid the hassle. The teller,Mohammed, and the manager are not qualified for their job. The teller didn't know how to activate a debit card and the called the manager whom didn't have a clue and just started making stupid assumptions. Chase should invest in training the personal at this branch. I went to one branch in Clifton and in 10mins my card was activated..
