  I had a hard time making 1 pmt. They would not push it out or extend out the loan. Instead they cashed entire amount of original check even tho I had made a few pmts and did not owe the entire original balance. Which I now know is illegal. I will never work with them again.

I am sorry if there was any confusion about your transaction. We felt it was best to provide some general information about how Payday Loans work in this response. Our goal is to provide the most transparent experience possible for you and others… Payday Loans typically use a “check” as collateral. This check is held at the payday loan branch until the customer’s due date and written to include principal and interest. When a customer borrows money, the interest charge is included in the check they write us, this is the fee for the loan. We give our customer cash when they take out the loan and on the due date we send the check to the bank to satisfy the loan contract (Principal + Interest). For example, if a customer borrows $100 the fee will be $8.90 (at Check City) if the loan is due in one week. Our customers have until 7:00 PM at our Logan branch, on their due date, to make a payment or to extend their loan to the following payday. If a customer does not come in, call or pay online by 7:00 PM on their due date, the entire check amount will be deposited to payoff the loan. This is typical for most payday lenders.   Badly needed a loan and the two people on staff when I went into the office were able to get the entire process out of the way with the cash I needed in my hands in about 10 minutes. I called ahead to see what sort of documents I would need and with that info it was a simple thing that helped me out a ton. I was expecting an awful, hours long process with the possibility of it not even working out in the end but it was the opposite.
