  We highly recommend Check 'n Go in Dothan! We had to drive up from Florida which to some isn't too far but after you have worked all day and trying to speed up there before they close at 7 is a rush and hassle sometimes, but I must say the ladies there were the nicest, most patient people! They went through the whole process of the check cashing we needed and didn't take long at all, loaded it right to our prepaid card we already had and money was available literally in seconds! Will definitely be back next time we have to cash a check!!

  Machines are always down takes long time customer service is great from the people there but from the actual company dog s*** I go somewhere else

  If you get approved online and for a big loan, don't get excited til you read this.....spoiler, it ends with the police looking for me about a $5k loan that I didn't even take out. Beware, Not worth it!!! Maybe for $500 but for loans over that you don't actually get the money!!! Forget what it says online...... I'm a college professor (PhD in Renaissance) turned into a social media advertiser for small businesses, and I applied for an installment loan online at a local ChecknGo in Dothan that I pass by frequently. Got approved for about $5k and I needed it for my growing business. I called the location and verified the loan and the amount. I wasn't in a rush to complete the loan (it wasn't like an emergency); it said I had 3 weeks or so with the approval. But I sent in all the paperwork they required within a week, then called and verified everything before I came to the store about 10 days into this and had an appointment. Well, I found out that they can't serve you if you are a minute late, like at 6:03pm when they close at 6pm. Okay, I get it, but it didn't appear that the Dothan location was very customer service friendly from this interaction and failed attempt to close the loan. So I left with no loan and applied for a loan closer to my actual house instead of on the way to work. Turns out, different stores give different approvals, and the best offer came from the Dothan store. So after another week, I checked my approval online-good to go-- called the store about 20 days into the loan, and by now they know me,. They confirmed all was good. I went to the store to close the loan after all this time. Turns out the lady wasn't feeling it that day, Anesia, I believe? And decides to turn the loan down after nearly 3 weeks of paperwork and me trying to get to the store to complete the loan. Why? Well, I had applied to a few other locations, she said.....No kidding, to look for better customer service and get around this spitfire employee. So she said that because I applied to other places, she was denying the loan??? That's a new one. 5 thousand dollar approval, send in the documents they needed for weeks, call the store, verify all is good, and still you are actually denied. So I sat down in the store confused about what to do or how they could do this and waste so much of my time. I didn't yell. I didn't curse. I didn't approach anyone. I got the idea to call the 800 number and see if corporate could intervene. Then, when Anesia got an inkling that she wasn't doing the best job or treating a customer right, does Anesia fix it?? Nope. Instead she lies to cover up how inept she is and how she yanked me around for all this time and thinking I was getting a loan and said that I was making her "feel uncomfortable." So being in such an "uncomfortable" position, she naturally did what anyone would have done........pressed the panic button and said police were on their way. Wait, what? I was on the phone telling corporate that there is a problem at the Dothan store and I couldn't complete my loan because Anesia just wouldn't do it and the store hit the panic button? Like in the movies? This is real people. You can message me. I left shocked and called police to tell them what actually happened, but before I finished the conversation, an officer pulled me over with lots of questions about how I "harass" employees at Check N Go. I'm in my 40s and never had anything like this happen before (and have no record by the way). Just wild. Loan approval--to incredibly poor service---to a crazy freak out who called the cops. The officer told me that I am trespassing if I go back on Check N Go property. What the hell is wrong with this business.
