      Avoid dealing with Chemical Bank. For 9 years they have prevented me from collecting money owed to me from a third party. Totally unreasonable and a bank to avoid.

      I love my local Flushing branch. But your phone system that directs me to corporation HQ when I call the LOCAL FLUSHING NUMBER, and makes me ask to be transferred to the Flushing branch is silly and frustrating. If I dial the local branch, the odds are I want the local branch. Then, when the operator sends you there-- finally-- the call is sent to a particular teller, so if they are away from their desk or at lunch, you have to leave a voicemail, there is no common line for the branch that anyone can answer like in any normal business since, say, about 1955. Every time the bank changes hands I keep hoping for better online banking and telephone, but alas. However, your great staff in Flushing keeps me banking here.
