Back in 2017 I got a loan here for a brand new Honda CBR, I didn’t have any credit but had just gotten a new job and a large bonus. The loan officer talked to me about my situation and if I was absolutely sure that was wanted and I would pay for it. After discussing everything he gave me an ~$8k loan with no credit check or history, just my word. I recommended this credit union to several friends and family after that. But now in 2022 a year after paying off that original loan I can’t get one for half of that even with higher pay, longer job history, a better credit score. They just asked my name and social, ran a paper and decided no. I liked when they treated you like a person and not a number, it’s a shame the amount they have declined in just a few years. I will be recommending anyone who has an account here move to a different bank or credit union.
