      I had trouble opening my account online and my application was denied. I headed to this in-store location for help and the Banker that helped me was fantastic. She was friendly, took the time to see what I needed, and helped me get my Online Banking setup. And the assistance manager was also so nice and friendly. Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff.

      I was at Stop & Shop today and went to the bank counter to exchange ten dollar bills for a ten. The young Asian-American teller asked if I was a bank customer. I could have lied and told him I was, but I didn't. He informed me that the bank policy was they could do the exchange for customers only. There was a Sow-American standing next to him, who appeared to be the person in charge, and she said nothing. So, I told them I would go to customer service. As an Air Force veteran, who happened to be wearing my veteran's cap at the time, I am amazed that I wasn't treated as a "citizen" for this simple request. Made me glad again that I got my wife to move all of her money out of this P.O.S. bank to a local bank that both treats people like human beings and earns her more money. This policy and these people suck!
