  Updating my review of the downtown CCCU from 3 years ago. I can see that their staff are trying their best to be “happier” and “nicer”. I’m very glad to see that improvement. They also did a very good job with my PPP loan, so I’m very happy with that. Also like that they do regular checks on my credit score, and give me better rates on my credit card automatically. My rate is around 8.99% which is the lowest of all my credit cards elsewhere. Thank you.

  Use to love being a member of this bank however: everytime you turn around they are "improving the mobile bank" which is NOT an improvement. Example you use to be able to use your fingerprint to access your account. You would think this is more secure then typing in yet another password.but no they took that away. Now whom ever is thinking that this is more secure needs to go back to school and figure it out that this is not more secured as no one can duplicate your finger print!! So frustrating to say the least.

The upgrade coming soon is only impacting how you log in with online banking not the app. You can still use your fingerprint or face ID to login to the app. If you have any additional questions about the upcoming changes, you can email [email protected]. We know change is hard, but we promise to be with you every step of the way. We continually have to make security enhancements, most behind the scenes, to protect your account as you manage your money digitally.

  So u get a gift card with an expiration date thats years away and if u dont use it, the bank eats the money that gifter gave and theres no way to return it/refund it back into the card or the gifter. So basically the bank is taking ur money and lesson learned is nvr get a gift card from this bank.
