  Was interested in taking a Loan out with this Company after receiving this letter in the mail from the Branch manager Julie. It supposedly Guaranteed me a Loan of $700, However when I responded I was offered a loan of about half that. The good old bait and switch, they also called my boss and he hit me up wondering if I'm having financial issues, i dont appreciate being mislead or lied to its definitely not a decent way to start business with someone. I'd suggest going over to Covington Credit they are straight up and have never called my Job in the 6 months I've had a loan with them.

  Mr. Anderson, I want to apologize for the experience you had with our company. Calling your job: Before we approve anyone we have to verify they work where they say they do. All we did was ask for human resources and never said this was about a loan but asked if you work for them and what days are your paydays. We just started the Guarantee offer mail outs a couple months ago and today after reading your review I got in touch with that company that mails them out and cancelled all future mailings.   I called City Finance McKinney location today I spoke with a lady named Bonnie. I asked her to please tell me the criteria of her long procedure. She told me it was not based on my credit and would be based on  previous loan that I have in good standings and have had the loan for over 90 days it would not be based on my credit after convincing me that I should qualify based on the question she asked me. I gave her my information and she said that she would call me back. I asked her how are you going to call me back do you have my phone number. She said "Oh" I'm sorry what is your phone number. That made me suspicious and led me to believe that something wasn't quite right. I gave her the phone number I received a call back by lady named Judy she was talking extremely fast and I could not make out the things he was saying. I asked her to please slow down so that I can understand what she saying she totally contradict everything that Bonnie said. She also spoke over me which makes for a very poor conversation or communication. If you're purposely not truthful to people that call interested in getting along with your company you not giving them the best chance to make the best decision by giving you their information and getting inquiry on their credit.... Kirk Grojean.. I was told that you are the owner of City Finance I hope this review finds you... PS I do have only one loan from the company right next door to you I've never missed a payment and they can vouch for me I also been in my home for over 19 years and have income of over $3,800 per month. I don't have a lot of things Finance or heavy monthly expensive

  Not sure why you responded twice? Your 1st response was by a Chancellor Brewell and now by Pretty King all within 3 minutes? Our loan qualifications have always been based off your credit bureau, income, free income and several other things. I have never heard them say anything different than that and once again like I wrote for your review by Chancellor I will talk to both of them. But once again I have never heard them say any of the things you said in both of your reviews. Sincerely, Kurt
