  Civista private banking is a good bank. I worked with Jessica Stuek and Michelle Gomez for the mortgage on my first home and they were always fast to respond and helpful all the way through. Their quick responses and great customer service were top notch for someone who had never purchased a home before. I don’t find the previous review saying the bank nickle and dimed them to be true, quite the opposite in my experience. Never paid any fees and always reimbursed for atm withdraws at non civista atms. Reason for 4 stars: IMO civista online and mobile banking needs some work. Not as user friendly as most other banks and banking apps. Can’t see transactions further than 2 weeks past without downloading your statement, web times out often, etc. Other than that, great experience

  Contacted them a week ago regarding my federal income tax refund that the IRS mistakingly sent to this bank, but now the bank won't contact me. DO NOT BANK WITH THIS COMPANY, and the phone numbers that you keep giving everybody doesn't help anybody at all, it takes you to an automated message that doesn't connect me with a real person so if you want your review changed, you will have Santa Barbara trust call me
