  I would recommend this credit union again and again. I've been a member since 2013, when I came in to pre-qualify for an auto loan. (old Moon Twp branch) I just got my title in the mail. The service is consistently excellent, at various branches and on the phone. My information has always been correct and carefully secured. Whenever I come in or call, they help me look over all of my finances, so that there are no surprises or loose ends. I would absolutely get another auto loan with them (hopefully not *too* soon, haha) I will also look to them for long term savings rates. True professionals who give me options, not any high pressure sales pitches. The only reason I don't use them for everyday banking is availability of locations where I live.

  I've wanted to transfer my bank account to a credit union for some time now for the added benefits and was recommended to Clearview. I must say, I have been extremely underwhelmed. First, I signed up online and I put money into my account using my old banks debit card. It has been a week and nothing in my account. It was debited from my previous bank the day after I signed up. I never received my account/routing/member number from them in the mail. I had to call in to get that information. I received my debit card in the mail 3 days after I joined, assuming my money had already been in the account. I use the debit card and it doesn't work. Maybe next time, send the debit card after the money gets deposited. Also, you might want to think about adding a disclosure to your online application process that says money might take over a week to be processed into your new account. Customer service has also been hit or miss. Very disappointment in my early experience and may just cancel the account and switch credit unions.

  Going to Puerto Rico to support the US government's efforts there post hurricane Maria as a federal employee. Was told to bring small denominations on this trip. Went to Clearview's ATM withdrew $250 and paid the $3.50 fee. Then went right inside the bank and tried to exchange that for smaller bills. Because I was not an account holder, even though I explained I was a federal employee and I had just been a customer of their ATM, they refused to help me out and exchange some larger bills for smaller ones. I am a Federal Employee -- Could open account/ do some banking here, but won't ever be opening account here and wouldn't recommend to anyone else. There are times where you may want to deviate from your rigid policies Heather, this was one of them.
