I went to Coachella Valley Jewelry with a vintage Rolex Daytona and an antique pocket watch by Audemars Piguet that was handed down to me by my great grandfather. The Daytona needed a simple service, which Paul took care of for a very reasonable price. The pocket watch needed a lot of work, however. The minute repeater mechanism was not working properly and the perpetual calendar leap year indicator was sticking. It also needed a new crystal and mainspring. I was expecting that this job would be too complex for them but Paul said he was an expert in pocket watches. I am happy to say that after a little over a month I have my watches back and they are absolutely perfect. I am thrilled. My Daytona has been regulated to only +1 seconds per day, which is the best I ever had with it. The Audemars is good as new and I look forward to passing it on to future generations. I was shocked by the price Paul gave me for the pocket watch repair which was 1/5 the price that was quoted to me by an Audemars specialist. If anyone needs a real watch guy, go here. He also has a bunch of nice jewelry and coins. I bought my wife an antique 18k gold chain with an emerald pendant for Valentine's. I'll let you know what she thinks!
