      Asked Becky Perry, a title processor at Coast Title, to assist with electronic notary, which is Florida State law. She not only refused, but hung up the phone on me. I will be reaching out to Florida Attorney general for assistance. Recommend avoiding this agency!

      Mr. Trillo, I, as owner of the title company, would typically not respond to an unjustified review, but I feel compelled to in this case. Your behavior was nasty and belligerent and we do not tolerate our staff being treated that way. It appears that you became agitated when we attempted to explain the proper process for signing closing documents in order to expedite and safely close on your transaction. The proper terminology for a closing, if time had permitted, is called a Remote Online Notary (RON) signing. Proper customer vetting and software are required in such transactions. Your closing was scheduled to take place the next day. E-signing is not allowed on real estate closing documents. I understand that your bank Notary was unavailable when you stopped by. I personally attempted to contact you to discuss the matter further, you informed me that you did not wish to rehash the earlier conversation with my office. As a company owner and having over three decades of title experience, I tried to assist in getting the closing to the finish line in a cordial manner. Instead of discussing the issue in such fashion, you decided to broadcast your arbitrary accusations in your online review. In fact, I would strongly encourage you to go ahead and contact our title insurance underwriters (Fidelity National Title, Old Republic Title), The Department of Insurance, The Office of Insurance Regulation and The Florida Land Title Association. You are free to inquire about how they would have instructed us to handle a closing situation involving a very quick transaction by mail, when a seller (or buyer) is upset about having to properly sign required closing documents, have them acknowledged by a Notary and e-signed, instead.
