  Collegedale Credit union is a super awesome finical institution. The staff has always been super friendly, and has and still taken care great care of all of my financial services.

  I remember my husband and I being new members with Collegedale. We have done nothing except keep our accounts and credit cards in good standing as well as paying off our entire car loan we got with them. Unfortunately, we’ve had nothing but terrible service and disdain regarding our accounts. There was a discrepancy on our account recently and both my husband and I explained the extenuating circumstances because of it. We were told the accounts were on hold although they all were in good standing and had zero balances. And due to my husband and I needing to use our accounts with Collegedale , we attempted to get the issue rectified exponentially. They informed us that it would be under review until further notice. Almost two weeks went by with no access to our accounts nor communication as to what would happen further. My husband and I had to consistently call THEM to check on our accounts. Then, one day I spoke with someone by the name of Kimberly Wadsworth, her and I had a discussion regarding the account. She informed me of everything then I began to talk to her about my husband and I hardships. She had no care whatsoever and also said and I quote “if you want to go that route I’ll have the account closed today” with no reasoning other then what we were discussing over the phone. Mind you, m husband and I are AA and I was explaining to Kimberly how the statistics of AA making decent income is slim in the US. She took it as me pulling a race card when all I stared to her were facts regarding the AA community. Ironically enough, 5 minutes later I was informed by Susan Dalton that our account is now being closed after we were told it was still under review that same day

  Good luck getting them to answer the phones. Every time I call I have to call a minimum of 5 times, usually more, before someone answers the phone. It’s really difficult to use MY money. Other than that, they’re fine.
