  My elderly mother moved states during covid year for a family emergency and during the move and getting settled in a whole new place her account went negative. Without allowing her to fix the (small) insufficient amount they called her other states bank and told them to close her account. That is not legal. Also, continued to refuse to allow her to pay the insufficient amount even after she moved back to the state of MO. Thankfully I was able to get her into a good bank that saw that small amount and listened to how they had made it impossible for her to pay it off or open an account with any other bank. Horrible people and shady behavior/shared customer information.

  Dear Commerce bank, I went in to the 12th & Charlotte today to cash a check and I was humiliated and discriminated against today by a lady name Alex at the 12th and Charlotte branch. My physical appearance should not cause me t o feel ashamed and dismayed at MY bank when I'm merely trying to cash a check, especially when my checking account has 10 times the check about. When I asked for a supperior, I was told one wasn't available and that everyone here is the same. Commerce Bank, this is wrong in many levels.
