  I am interested in getting small business loan and spoke with Matt M. He gave me great info about the loan and even spent some extra time giving me advice about potential other options for me situation. He made me feel more equipped to take on the new challenge of growing my business even though I may not come to use his service. If the other employees here are like Matt, they are doing a great job gaining the trust of their clients.

  I needed a SBA loan to expand my business and hire people. I applied on the SBA site and within a few minutes, Kyle from Common Funding reached out to me and connected me to SmartBiz Loans, a lending platform that is tightly integrated with banks. Between Kyle and the relationship manager from SmartBiz, the process was highly organized, transparent and smooth from start to finish. Kyle was always available and would respond within a short time with the right information delivered with professionalism and courtesy. Given that the SBA loan process is elaborate and includes a thorough audit of the borrower's finances, both personal and business, getting funded is not easy. Given that, Kyle's communications with me contained the right balance of assurance and cautious optimism. There were days when the documentation requested was daunting or outright impossible to provide. On other days, some questions would come back which gave me pause as to whether I should read more into it and perhaps I won't get the loan after all. I would run my anxieties by Kyle and he would always provide a measured response and soothe my anxieties, asking me not to overreact (he wouldn't say that in so many words) and would let me know that this is all part of due process. As the audit process at SmartBiz came to an end and they submitted the package to their (partner) bank for final scrutiny, Kyle continued to support me by returning my calls and emails and would tell me exactly where I was during the process. It was very important for me to have Kyle (and Common Funding) involved in this. One could ask, why not go to SmartBiz directly, cut out the middleman and all that. I would advise against it. Common Funding is like your personal doctor, who knows everything about you and your health (in this case, your financial health). You can go to a specialist for a particular need but you always have the security of your doctor to run things by them and talk about your concerns and in turn, your doctor gives you an unvarnished view of your situation while giving you the comfort that you need. I started the application process with SBA on Sep 11, 2018. I was funded 18 days later by the bank on Sep 29, 2018. Kyle was actively engaged during the entire process and I would unhesitatingly recommend Common Funding, assuming your relationship manager is as good as Kyle, for your small business financial needs. - Raghu

  The SBA hooked me up with Conor at Common Funding and he was terrific. Very responsive, typically getting back to me within hours or the next day at most whenever I had a question or issue. He took the time to understand my loan needs, and had lots of insight on different ways to proceed. He gave me tips on writing my proposals, and what bankers and the SBA are looking for in different scenarios. When the SBA denied my loan, he hooked me up with a traditional bank that was willing to do my very difficult, out-of-the-box loan. I had talked to 30+ banks and brokers previous to working with Conor, so this was not an easy deal to pull off. Highly recommended!
