Insanity at it’s best. I was skeptical about working with a title agency that I wasn’t familiar with but the listing agent ensured me that it would be smooth. It was until the transaction closed. After submitting my escrow letter which clearly defined what was suppose to be paid to myself and my referral partner Hwa, whom was the title representative. Sent not only the wrong commission amount to my broker, did not retain the referral fee for my referral partner (which was all laid out on the escrow letter) she then tells me that I should have reviewed the BUYER’s CD and if I had any objections I should of noted it then. EVEN IF I DIDNT have an objection, she still sent the wrong amount that was on the escrow letter, period. It’s like I said I’m owed $10 but I’m giving $2 to this person and they send me a check for $9.86. Where did you get $9.86 from? That wasn’t anywhere on anything. Then tell me “there’s nothing she can do.” It’s a clerical error on your end. Title companies have insurances for things like this. You need to fix this. And quickly
