I have been a member since the late 80s. I've financed my house and two cars through Community America because they gave me the best rates. I like the fact they don't charge you all kinds fee and share profit's at the end of the year.

Love this bank but why can I not speak to a human on the phone?! Only an automated message and told to go online. VERY annoying. It’s called “Community”.

Staff was friendly enough. My problem with community america is that they charger for cashing checks if you donot have an account. I have considered banking here but i have found that banks that charge for that typically have more hidden fees. Also there are no regualations that require 2 forms of identification. Its redundant to do so. I also do not like that the drive through windows go to someone behind a screen and atm. This requires you to go inside to cash said check.

Hi Jon! Thanks for reaching out. While we do have fees for some things, in keeping with the credit union tradition, you'll find that our fees are much lower than pretty much anywhere. We encourage you to go to our website, click on the search bar, and type in fees. This will bring you to all the fees that we have. If you do decide to become a CommunityAmerica, you will no longer have that check cashing fee (hooray!) or need to come in in order to cash your checks (woohoo!). Hope this helps! ~ Cara
