We drove 2.5 hours with our bikes to ride the bike trail in North Hampton. Needless to say I forgot my bike shoes that were clip ins. It was a holiday and many bike stores were closed. We called this bike store and they were open. Realizing now I would have to buy shoes and clips for the pedals we decided to skip the bike riding. We were heading to our car and the bike mechanic came out of the garage across the parking lot to ask if he could help us. We told him our dilemma. He offered to let us borrow pedals. We took my bike off the car and he installed regular pedals for me. Then left us a wrench in a bag out side his shop to bring the pedals back and remove them when we were finished riding. We were so extremely impressed with his genuine kindness and trust and willingness to help. will always go back when we visit North Hampton. Great bike and ski store.
