  I highly recommend for closings. Very professional, accommodating and flexible throughout the process. I truly appreciate Katie Boden's patience and understanding of each customer's specific needs. She shows compassion, a sincere desire to ensure everyone is comfortable, and takes the time to make sure complete understanding throughout the signing process!

  Compass Closings & Title company was selected by the individual we purchased our house from and we closed our purchase on 11/22/21 at their Beach satellite office. In the days leading to our closing, I had a few interactions with their staff and found them to be unprofessional on the phone with a poor response time to voicemail messages. I shrugged it off with the assumption that my interactions with this company would be minimal and that after closing, I would be done with them. The closing itself was very unorganized and we walked out of the closing without any paperwork or copy of our property survey because the closer did not have copies ready along with some lose ends that the seller and seller's agent were handling at the main office. After multiple requests from myself and my realtor for closing documents (my realtor was also waiting on a delayed commission payment from them), we finally received copies of our documents on 12/7/2021 via email. Over the Christmas/New Year holiday, I received a homeowner's insurance policy cancellation notice due to nonpayment of premium.  I double-checked my closing disclosure and confirmed that I already pre-paid the premium to Compass with my closing costs. After calling the insurance company to straighten things out on 1/5/22, the insurance company informed me that my policy has been reinstated because they finally received payment from Compass on 1/4/2022. Compass withheld my insurance payment for over a month! While I do understand that many businesses are experiencing understaffing and that the real estate market in NE FL has seen an unprecedented amount of transactions in the last year, there is absolutely no excuse to delay payment of any kind, especially when you are paying an insurance premium on someone's behalf. We have made several real estate purchases in the past and have never experienced such a poor level of customer service and lack of professionalism from a title company. If you are selling your property, I would think twice about selecting Compass Closings since there are other options in the Jacksonville area.

  It's always a pleasure to work with Compass Closings &Title.The attorneys are not just very knowledgeable but also friendly and responsive.Gina, the closing manager, will go above and beyond to ensure everything is ready for the closing and everyone is happy.She has met my homeowners and buyers wherever and whenever it worked best for my customers.I can certainly recommend their services to anyone.
