  Cornerstone Community Bank in Grafton has been our bank for over 20 years and we could not be happier! Their personalized service is top notch. Whether it's a mortgage loan, auto loan, or our checking & savings accounts, these folks have always taken the best care of our financial needs.   Won't cash a check that's drawn on one of their accounts unless you have an account. Not even for a fee, not if you have 26 forms of ID, nothing. What's the reason they won't do this? "It's our policy to protect our customers." When I asked for clarification, I was put on hold, and the hold-music was a commercial for them. "The big banks act like they can't be bothered with your financial needs..." or something to that affect was the message that played. Ironic.

  Hi Mr. Koleas. In recent years, banks have seen an increase in fraudulent check activity resulting in substantial losses to our customers. To limit this risk, banks nationwide have found it necessary to institute more restrictive check cashing policies, like not cashing checks for non-customers. However, we gladly accept checks presented by customers of our bank. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

  in regards specifically to the menomonee falls branch. i have used the same loan officer a few times in the past not from cornerstone. he is great. i used to bank with m&i. when they became bmo i left immediately and came to cornerstone. due to the great cust service i didn't even call my usual loan officer this time for my refinance needs, instead i just came to cornerstone. the people here are absolutely wonderful to work with. they know my name and everyone is always happy to see the kids and i. even the people i only see here once a year or so remember me and are friendly. they take the time to help teach the kids how banking is done here. they have taken the time to get to know us and are always willing to chat about your day or share stories. they take our concerns into consideration and help me move forward with options. keep up the great work and i look forward to continue to be a cust. thank you.
