  Derek Brown was absolutely amazing throughout our entire process. Working between him and our salesperson with Clayton it was smooth and efficient If I had any questions Derek was quick to answer and calm me down if I was anxious or nervous. He got us a fantastic approval and loan terms far better than any other company we considered. Working with him was a dream and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

  Country Place mortgage has to be the worst Mortgage company that is able to do business. They have no care if you are having hardship or having trouble making your payments they do not offer any help they only tell you what you're going to do even if you have no job and you're telling them that and you have no money then they want to come and take your house. I've never seen a company with employees that can smile while they're telling your house is in foreclosure and offer no help. I would never have mortgage with them again if at all possible they are just terrible people.

  If there was an option to give less than one star, I would have. This mortgage company is an absolute joke. The loan officer (Rick Acosta) consistently lies and as a result of his lies and the complete disaster of a process, closing has been pushed 4 different times. He will tell the title company one thing and say something completely different to us. Having a newborn, buying a new home, and trying to schedule a move is hard enough but when you're dealing with someone who cannot tell truth and doesn't know what he's doing it has made a difficult situation unbearable. All we want to do is close....why is this so hard?
