  I am editing as I was contacted to get my 74 dollars. Their mistake was admitted and they will take steps for it to not happen again. And it didn't mess up the refund being sent out this summer. -------------------------------- So they are able to admit when wrong. That means a lot with a business. I am very upset at this point in time. I had my taxes done in February. When I left, I didn't have my checking account number for direct deposit. So I went home, got it, took it back. He was busy, so I left it with the other gentlemen sitting behind the front desk. I get a call from Craig in April saying I had never given him the direct deposit number. I texted it right then. Today, May 20th, I get a letter from the State saying I don't get my 74 dollars as my taxes were not filed on time. I called and Craig said I never texted the number. If I could find it and prove I sent it, he would split the 74 dollars with me. I feel like I was accused of lying twice. I did drop it off, I did text. And in February when he didn't have it, why did he not just mail it and I could get a paper check? The nice lady at the Dept of Revenue said I do not get the 74 dollars. Just out of luck. She didn't think it would mess up the other money if you filed by May 31st, but wasn't sure. I did find the text and texted it along with my opinion of this whole mess. And then called and left a message that I sent the text. Edit myself. Blame me?????? I took that direct deposit information back that same day in February. This was just an unfortunate series of missteps. But he could have filed and gotten a paper check. So yes, have all your information even if you don't realize you need it.

  Great example of Have Your Information Ready at time of Preparation. This customer unfortunately did not have their direct deposit information with her. We eventually did find her text sent 6:46pm 04/18/22 and we were in office until 11:30PM knocking out taxes and extensions. A check was sent to this client for their full refund. We are here to help you all to the very extent of repayment of a refund. Please be prepared! So that we don't have to.
