  I am a small business owner of a home repair and painting company. I looked at several banks before choosing Crescom. My criteria was going in was: Friendliness, Welcoming Environment, Genuine Interest in my business and helping me to accomplish my goals. My Experience at Walk In: As I entered the bank on Arlington, I was greeted by Sarah, a kind African American teller, who not only was in the process of a transaction but found the time during such transaction to give me a brochure and explain their new business plan coming out the next day. While we were talking at the booth, Eric, a senior level commercial manager approached and interjected about his knowledge on the plan. (It wasn't his department but he lead me to his office where we talked more about what he did and his experience with working with BB&T, while Katie the business rep was on a phone call. He stated a bigger bank would see me as a number but here at Crescom is where I needed to be. I was busy and anxious to get the process underway but I liked the staff so much I decided I would wait one more day and sign up for the better plan. Sarah, Eric, and Katie took not only my business checking but I also created a savings and a personal checking account with Crescom. This was not my purpose but I will put my money were people who like me are. I will name a few banks I walked into that were disrespectful and rude and wait and talked down to me like I was stupid: Southern Bank - ignored me, Union Bank (talked down to me), First Citizens bank on Memorial was not helpful, and bank of america and wells fargo were sincere but did not offer a competitive package for a local new business and they had so many fees, fees fees.

  Called the branch to open a business account because of a handwritten letter I received that I thought was awesome and was met by an attitude from staff . I was hung up on as I was still talking and upper management seemed to find nothing wrong with how I was treated. I am a Pirate ECU College of Business and I won't be doing business with Union!

  This rating is not in regard to the ladies at this branch because they’re very nice ladies. Much more in regards to how their bank as a whole handle disputes and the lack of help from customer support.
