  My wife and I were making the purchase of our dream boat and we are self employed. It’s not always easy getting financing - especially for a transaction as large as this. Ashley and Susan went to work for us and it was frustrating and sometimes we wanted to throw in the towel but they got the loan approval! We know that this would not have happened without their tenacity and willingness to go the extra mile for us. There is no way to adequately express our thanks and appreciation for the work they put in. If you want a bank and bankers who care about you and your dreams - these are the people and this is the bank. Thank you Ashley and Susan - Croghan Colonial Bank is lucky to have you on their team.

  If I could give it a negative star I would. When it comes to protecting your private information they are seriously at a breech. They required documents for verification and have no encrypted secure portal to send sensitive documents. In addition they tend to lose documents and request the same document 2 or 3 times. The staff is rude and short when calling to inquire about anything. In addition the closing process was delayed due to a lack of communication with the title company and sending required paperwork to the title company in a timely manner. Teresa blamed the title company and refused to take responsibility for her lack of attention to detail. I would recommend you look somewhere else if you are considering using them to finance your home.
