  While they appear to be quite friendly, they are extremely nonresponsive when it comes to returning calls and following up. They also like to talk to you on speaker phone which makes it difficult to hear at times and you feel as if they are yelling. Someone needs to tell them it is not the most professional way to conduct phone conversations. I chose Ms. Means' agency because she was a woman of color and I wanted to support her business. However, there are times when I feel as if this was not the best choice. I realize businesses have good days and bad days and should not be judged on a few sour experiences but those experiences are racking up and I would much rather provide support where it will be honored and appreciated. I too am a small business owner who understands the struggle but you have to put in the extra work and train people well so those sour experiences do not end up working against you. Don't slack ever, especially when business is good because what goes up will come down!! Hopefully, she or someone from her agency will see this post and use it as a form of constructive criticism for improvement. I have referred 2 customers who have had similar experiences, so this is not isolated but worth looking into.

  The team at Cynthia Means State Farm has been great. They thoroughly reviewed my existing policy and helped me to update my family policies. They are responsive and attentive even when I call at closing time as that’s when my day slows down.
