  I've been a member of this bank since 2009 so I can speak with great authority on how awful it is from day one until today, when I finally closed my account. I have only kept it open this long so I would have a brick and mortar local bank if I needed one. I stopped using it as my primary a few years ago and use Navy Federal, USAA, and Capital One instead. I did keep a couple of autopay bills with DB to keep the account alive. But they are so technologically behind I even cancelled my last autopay bill earlier this summer because their website never works and I couldn't keep track of balances, and you literally have to call them to do the most un-secure password reset you'll ever do in your life. A few days ago I had a missed call from them. No voicemail. Yesterday I received a letter. Apparently the autopay I cancelled this summer was still being pulled out. It was for $10/month. They let it go on for several months and slapped me with so many fees I owed $160. And yet no one told me. I went into the branch and the rep was like "you get a monthly statement" yeah, ok, I DONT USE THIS BANK, if I'm going negative why do you wait months to actually call me? To collect fees. Because that's the only way horrible banks like this that can't compete in the digital age stay alive. Terrible customer service, 20th century technology, and shady business practices are why this long standing member finally closed her account after over a decade. Highly do not recommend.
