      Let me start by saying this is a bit over due because Debbie Hillman and the Davis cpa team over at the laurel springs office have been doing our small businesses book keeping , payroll and taxes for the past 7 years and this year more then ever we bugged the heck out of that poor girl Debbie! Questions? Answered!... Problems? Solved!... Headaches?... Cured! Honestly im surprised she didn't drop us like that 3rd period French class. But really! Its no secret that 2020 and 2021 were a nightmare in itself but she helped keep our small business moving through all of it and made sure we made our dates and deadlines! I myself as well as our staff cant thank Debbie and the Davis team enough for what they do. If you are from the area and need a team to help your team!... You just foud it!

      I called and arranged to send my tax info 1 month prior to Tax day . However I called 3 weeks later , concerned about not hearing from them and was told they’d get to it . I nervously called 4 times on April 18 and was assured someone would get back to me . It wasn’t until 6 pm I was called and asked to email my signature on the final paperwork ! I was offered no explanation other than .. the office was crazy busy . It was a very nerve wracking experience. I don’t recommend this firm unless you’re ok with waiting till the last minute to know your taxes are done .

      It was the worst decision that I have made so far to have Davis CPA to file our tax return in 2022. After submitting our materials 6 weeks ago, after multiple emails and phone calls, after being promised that it will be done for us to review in a few days 2 weeks ago, I finally realized that they will never get it done on time. Debbie Hillman was the staff accountant who was assigned to our case. She called me one evening and told me that she was filing our tax return but she did "...not have access to the electrical files. I have hundreds of pages printed out, but I don't have time to read them...can you tell me the numbers of...." I should have stopped there, but I gave her a chance because she told me everything will be done in a couple days and ready for us to review. Of course, that never happened. Now I have to file an extension. Please think twice before you use Davis CPA. It is a waste of time and money to deal with unprofessional accountants. They don't take promise seriously, and "don't have time" to review the your materials while filing your tax.
