  If you want the lowest payment possible and local support Debt Point in the best answer I found. I don't think I would ever pay off my debt on my own paying 20% and more in interest year after year.

  I called a couple national companies but they said they wouldn't do anything about creditor calls. I signed up with Debt Point here in San Antonio and all the calls stopped soon after. They also dropped my payments by about half what I was paying before I fell behind. Very happy so far!

  I can recommend this company if you have too much debt. My consultant Richard was very helpful and explained several options. My debts were not going down and it felt like I was never going to pay them off. Debtpoint set me up on a 36 month plan which came out to be much less than the interest only minimum payments I was making. I had contacted another debt consolidator company that was not local and would of had to pay about 200 more a month than Debtpoint and it would of took 6 years to pay them off. These guys really cut the balances way down compare to just helping with interests rates like other consolidators. I was shocked when they showed me letters with reductions they get from the creditors I owe.
