  I am in the middle of a divorce due to domestic violence. This bank refused to release the statements of me and my ex husband's joint checking account. The account my paycheck was direct deposited into and they are legally obligated to provide statements to. To "protect his privacy" they claimed. I have an order of protection and police reports. He has pending assault charges. They treated me like the criminal when all I'm trying to do is cut ties with a very dangerous man. It felt like being victimized all over again. I will be closing all of my accounts with this shady institution as soon as possible.

  My wife and I came from out of state and wanted to set up accounts at a large credit union, with a lot of branches. We liked the fact that Desert Financial branches are open until 7:00 p.m. I also like how I can access my out-of-state credit union through their web-site and transfer money into my Desert Financial account. We went to the Glendale branch to sit down with a representative who could help us set our accounts up, with some complex issues. Sophia Felix was outstanding. She spent about 1 1/2 hours with us. She ensured everything was done and worked before we left. When I e-mailed her a week later about another issue she phoned me back to ensure it was taken care of, and explained my options. She is a hard worker and is good representative for the credit union. She certainly made us feel like we made the right choice.
