I just purchased a new home from Dr Horton today. The home I purchased qualified for the summer new home buying incentive with up to $10,000 of closing costs paid by the builder, a refrigerator, washer and dryer. Also I got an exceptional interest rate of 2.75% on my 30 year mortgage. I used DHI title for the closing and everyone here is wonderful. Each person is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of closing on a home. They answered all my questions and kept me informed of the wire transfer from the sale of my home while I was here. I should be getting the keys to my brand new home any minute now. My experience with DHi was terrible. My husband have a medical condition that causes him to be forgetful and confused at times. When I was notified that he was purchasing a home. I explained the situation to them. When I came in to sign the paperwork. They were cold and did not put my name on the deed. The broker was calling my husband all times of night sending hugs and kisses in messages. un professional and unethical I have not recomeneded DHI to anyone. They never ask about paperwork to support his medical condition or try to rectify the situation. Their only concern was for me to sign the paperwork.

Horrible communication from the get go. Found out about pertinent info via an unexpected email before chatting with our loan officer. Escalated the conversation to the branch manager who spoke to me like I was oblivious. Use a different company.
