  My experience with Sandra Steininger was less than pleasant. And overall with D. H. Horton has been less than pleasant. The loan type that I wanted. I was not qualified, which is fine. However she offered no other reasonable options. She didn’t ask if I could put more of a down payment. She didn’t ask if she could do a rapid rescoring to possibly qualify for a better interest rate. But why would the builders mortgage company offer you ANYTHING that would save the buyer money. That’s money that this mortgage company & builder would make. Didn’t even know that MAY be an option to me. PLEASE,PLEASE beware. Often times builders lenders Offer insensitive such as offering to pay closing costs ect. However they often often interest rates A LOT higher than other lenders. Which would save you THOUSANDS over the life of the loan. My realtor reached out and left several msg. No one reached out and spoke with her provided info as to why she could not. This caused the lot that to be now not available. Over all I have experienced not such a great experience with THIS Builder & their mortgage company. Sveral days of msg. Left by my self & my realtor caused interest rates to go up. Please,please,please BUYER BEWARE.

  This is our first home. The process was not smooth, it was very frustrating it was very unorganized un professional As we finally got thru the process and finally closed I expected a great home, but that is not true our first week , drainage was not done correctly toilet and shower clogging up, electrical in kitchen kept going out we were told to fi nd a way get an extention and plug frigerator in another outlet which was our living room Our security system problems we dont even have a doorbell, House is built very cheaply I wouldn't recommend this company to noone, The only good person in this company is Dawn McCumber Customer service coordinator She tried her best to help and get things fixed She even went as far as pulling what contractors left in shower drain She didn't have to do that Contractors were going to take another week to fix what they done I go on and on Bad experience Unhappy homeowner!!!
