  I did work for DiStefano Enterprises for more than 2 years. When I stopped working for him, 3 months later he reports to his credit card company that it was a fraudulent charge and reverses the money paid to me. Avoid doing any business with this company.

  Do not work with these people, they're not trustworthy at all. They edited a contract that we signed after the fact, changing the rates we had agreed on and then lied about sending us a refund for the fraudulent charges. This business preys on small businesses. Will update this review if we ever receive a refund. Update: We went through a BBB process and ended up agreeing to them giving us the refund (the same one they owed us at the beginning). This was several months ago. When we followed up they told us they'd sent the money directly to BBB (which is not a service BBB provides) and then ceased to respond when we asked for evidence.

  In February, we were referred to DiStefano Enterprises with an agreement for EMV solutions and reduced payment processing fees. After several months, we realized we were being charged more than the amount we had agreed on. When we asked about it, we were ignored and told we were wrong. We followed up by looking at the numbers and agreement we signed and eventually filed a dispute with them, during which they produced an altered version of the initial document we signed with higher rates. Throughout this process, they made us a "new" offer with the original rates that we had signed for. We called them out on their fraud and have been waiting for a refund for more than 3 months now. After canceling our account, they continued to charge us and said the cancellation was processed June 9th, more than 2 months after we told them we were no longer interested in working with them. Francesco initially blocked our number so we weren't able to discuss with him and had to go through another party. In their most recent bout of sketchy behavior, they told us they sent the refund out already. When we told them we hadn't received it, they emailed us the account number they sent it to. The account number was incorrect, which is strange since they had our information on file (it's how they had been charging us this whole time). They told us they would send a check with the refund once they were able to "get their money back." We still haven't received a check or heard any updates over a month later Do not do business with these people. They are not trustworthy and will try to gaslight you when you call them out on fraudulent behavior. If you currently do business with them, we recommend checking your agreement against the charged amounts.

  Response from the owner

  We believe this review is from a merchant named Zubeyir Dundar of Istanbul Grill and Deli in Houston, Texas. Mr. Dundar acknowledged pricing in 8 different signature and initial sections on a legal merchant processing agreement. Mr. Dundar is now trying to scam us after us closing the merchant processing account and providing the customer a refund of any merchant fees.
