  Doris and Victorian Finance was absolutely wonderful to work with! This was my second experience working with Doris, and I don't have a single negative thing to say. When I initially looked into refinancing, I inquired through my current (at that time) mortgage servicer because I thought it would be a simpler process since I already had a mortgage through them. I then contacted several other major lenders, but ended up right back with Doris, wishing I would've contacted her from the very beginning. Before I get into that story (see below), let me say that I will ALWAYS, going forward, contact Doris and Victorian Finance for my mortgage needs FIRST, without hesitation. Not only did I get the best service a customer could ask for, but I also received a better rate and lower closing costs! Everything about the experience was superior! I spent a month or more communicating with another lender through my servicer at the time, only to find out that they couldn't help me because part of my septic system was on a separate piece of land, and Freddie Mac, Frannie Mae, no major lender, would give me a loan. I would have to go through a local bank at best, and accept a higher rate, they said. I asked "How did I even get the initial loan then?", to which I was simply told, "the rules have changed since then". I contacted several major lenders, who all told me the same thing when given the details of the situation. I then contacted Doris. I thought, "she helped me with the first loan, if anyone can do it, she can". She told me that she absolutely could help me refinance, that we would not have any issues getting a loan on account of the septic situation. Through her knowledge and experience (and being local to the area helped as well I'm sure), she was able to help me get the loan to refinance, without a single hiccup along the way, and again, even with better rates and less expenses overall!
