      My expierince was unpleasant. First off, I’ll start with the positives. The house itself is beautiful. Everyone I dealt with during the whole duration was nice, no one was rude or unprofessional. My issue is that I went through the dsld lender specifically to receive the specials, which I was under the impression I would qualify for the specials for the whole process up until the AFTERNOON before closing. I would have went through my own lender if that was the case and if I didn’t have to relocate ASAP, I would have walked. There was so much stress the few weeks before closing due to them not being able to verify my employment. I provided everything and more but it wasn’t enough. It was frustrating to be told everything was verified and closing was good to go but the day before all of suden it wasn’t enough and have the closing date pushed back. It was beyond stressful and gave me stress induced vertigo. Overall, would I recommend dsld to anyone? It depends. I would advise going through your own lender so they don’t screw you over like they did me. Or make sure, before signing anything, that you will receive the specials, otherwise they may lead you to believe you will but inform you last minute that you don’t qualify for the specials.
