Customer service is terrible try to pay a bill my with auto loan here and they ask to many questions I just want to pay a bill and they didn’t even want to talk to me and all if I ever get a loan I would get somewhere elsewhere

Wanted to get a new personal loan with cash out. To do a minor home improvement as we just bought our home earlier this year. I applied and they tried to tell me DTI was to high. As I’m doing some research and checking my credit report my DTI was below 30% which would qualify me with Dupaco or any other bank or credit union. They called me and explained to me why I was not approved. I questioned there methods on how they determine this. They explained that my debt to income was too high. When I explained got them that all my credit cards were paid off and payment history was perfect they still denied it. I had an auto loan with them so I traded the vehicle in and had the loan paid off. Now I’m going to pay off my personal loan with them and never go back. I’m also gonna make it my personal mission to make sure that everyone out there knows how they operate and for everyone to beware of Dupaco. They now have a branch in grimes iowa. Just beware of trying to get a personal loans or any loan from them. I will never ever refer anyone to them and make sure they go elsewhere. Maybe then they will realize and improve what they do and how they treat there customers. Especially new customers.
