      Called in to let them know about some very uncommon camera equipment that was stolen from my car. The person who answered the phone said to call the police and hung up on me. I know it isn't strictly a pawn shop's job to care where items come from, but I work at a camera store and get a ridiculous number of emails and calls about stolen items and we make note of every single one. We even reach out to other businesses where the items might turn up. Even just waiting for my response would have been less rude.
