SUPER FUN UPDATE: After paying off the amount of the first lawsuit, Eagle Loan sued me AGAIN. Apparently, while you are being garnished, they continue to charge interest. So, as I'm now garnished AGAIN, guess what is happening? They're STILL charging interest, so it's a never ending cycle. When I pay of this court ordered garnishment, they will get to submit a new one for the interest accrued while I am already being garnished to pay THEM. Yay capitalism!! After being a customer for over a decade, Eagle Loan sued me rather than sell the debt to a collection agency, during a pandemic. They chose to do this after I explained to them that my husband was furloughed indefinitely. They first harassed us over the phone for weeks then came to our house several times (during a pandemic), again AFTER we explained our finacial situation. The amount I'm being sued for should be embarrassing for the company, to attack a struggling family over such a pittance. Not to mention all the extremely expensive decorative items the company has in their offices. Glad to know that we will suffer so Eagle Loan can buy more signed Reds memorabilia. [Eyeroll]
