      My Favorite local bank. Always offered the best free checking and home equity line of credit almost free when compared with big banks like Bank Of America or Chase where they were difficult to deal with and had all the extra costs in HELOC compared to Eastern Bank. Highly recommend.

      Just called to speak to a representative & all I got was a recording telling me the reps are on another call. Ok, not exactly personal service but I held......for over SEVEN MINUTES. Finally the call was answered only to be told they cannot stop cancel a credit charge even though it is still “in process” & the company has not shipped the product. I need to rethink my relationship with a bank that no longer adequately staffs humans to take care of customers.
