I am so extremely impressed with the effectiveness of FCU site for transactions kept decent and in order. I was always hesitate to sign on, but so glad that I have. I have parted ways with Education First years ago and they are still a thorn in my side. From them sneaking all kinds of "services" ($100+/month) into my auto loan, to me being fed up and just paying the car off and them holding my title hostage for months. I have paid off and closed all of my accounts yet they still keep my credit cards on the books refusing to close them. Same shady practices that WF and BofA do. This is a dishonest organization that screws over its members. Run away as fast as you can.

It is part of our loan finalization process to disclose any and all services, and we do not add anything unless it has been authorized by the member. We can also assure you that all your products and services have been closed with us for several years. Credit bureaus such as Equifax and TransUnion do keep all credit records for seven years; if there is something you believe should be removed, they have processes for filing disputes.
