My Fiancé went to Educators credit union at 7139 N. Port Washington Road to apply for a personal Loan of $1600, he had a great credit score and was approved for the loan contingent on bringing her proof of income and 2019 and 2020 tax forms. He couldn't find his 2019 tax forms but provided everything that was asked of him. The loan person told him she couldn't get it approved until he provided 2019, at that time he asked me to come in with him to see if I could become a signer on the Loan with him because I had all my tax forms and I had more income. The loan person said all I needed to do was fax her two of my latest pay stubs which I did. The next day she called me to ask more questions, how long I have been on my job, where I worked, my social security number, where I lived., she said she would go through everything and get back with us. She called me back in about an hour and denied the loan because of something on my credit report, my Fiancé credit score is perfect and he can afford a $1600 loan, I think this is ridiculous and wrong. This particular branch of Educators is unfair and have Unconscious biases.
