  Three months after having bought our house and doing all the paperwork with them after so much paperwork and paperwork that they ask for and it turns out that today, 3 months later, problems that they caused continue to come up...they keep asking for paperwork, what a lack of professionalism...brrr annoying it is.

  Hello, thank you for your review. Here at Edwards, we strive to make every customer experience enjoyable and we are disappointed to hear this was not achieved in your interaction with our business. When purchasing a home there is typically more paperwork and signatures required as it is to protect you, the loan, and your property. During a loan transaction, the Lender and Title Company will request documentation to help clear items that could pose as a potential issue for you in the future. Before and at the time of closing, we requested full Account Numbers from the Borrower for the particular Accounts noted by the Lender, but we unfortunately never received the full Account Numbers as requested. At the time of closing we explained that due to the missing information additional paperwork and/or information may be required in the future if the creditor could not find the Accounts with the information provided. Unfortunately, that was the case in which we then notified you that the checks had been returned due to missing Account information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, though we were happy to help resolve this issue.   Absolutely terrible service due to ZERO communication. Alma was to be our closer. Had to ask several times for the information to wire our earnest money as we live out of state. Once that was all squared away we ended up needing to terminate the contract. All paperwork stating such was submitted on July 30th and despite NUMEROUS attempts to contact we STILL have not heard back from anyone regarding our account or about receiving our earnest money—over TWO WEEKS LATER. We have now resorted to getting our attorney involved. Alma is the absolute worst.

Our records state that the Release of Earnest Money form was submitted to us via email on August 17th, in which we issued a check the very next day. As you are aware, this check was lost in the mail so we have now issued another check.
