2020 has been a challenging year in just about every facet, so JT (James Taylor) was a more than needed and welcomed breath of fresh air. I was in the market like many folks to refinance my mortgage. As a first time home owner still in their first home I was not sure what to expect which was a bit nerve wrecking. Enter JT and Empire Mortgage. JT broke down the process in simple terms that I could understand and if I had any questions he was literally a phone call away. I got locked in at a unbelievable rate and couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and experience. Highly recommended!

Like most folks, my wife and I were looking to lower our monthly expenses. One big step toward that goal was to look at our mortgages. The interest rate on our second mortgage was about twice of what the current rates were so we decided it was time to consolidate our first and second mortgage. We contacted James Taylor and he got right to work. He was prompt in his responses and gave us several options regarding terms/length of mortgage, etc. He met with us (following all Covid protocols) and explained each option. He answered all of the questions we had. We asked James for some time to think about it. We emailed him with a few more questions (to which he promptly responded) before deciding to go ahead. James was very helpful through the signing process. James gets the highest marks from us for promptness, service, and knowledge of what is available for the homeowner. We couldn’t be more pleased (he saved us about $1000.00 per month!) and would recommend him without reservations (In fact, we already have recommended him to several of our friends).
