  Beautiful homes at reasonable prices. Everything included in the Live-Now series. Unique designs and the most energy-efficient homes out there.

  Good quality built house in an excellent location. The staff is top notch and work hard to make sure you're happy. These are basic homes that offer 6 different design packages (no design center options). Some homes have already been spec'd and can't be changed. If you do get a choice, try to view as many completed homes as possible before picking a package. It's hard to tell how things will look based off the design board in the sales office. Also look over the model carefully to see just what you'll get or not get in these basic homes. Other options include ceiling fan boxes, whole house window coverings (minus slider), appliances, backyard rock, front yard plants, & exterior color schemes/elevations. One of the things I like about this builder, is that that use spray foam installation. This should seal-up your home nicely for energy efficiency and help keep the critters out. I also used their lender (MTH Mortgage) & saved a ton of money in closing costs. They did an excellent job with less hassle than I've had with other lenders. Overall I'm happy with my new home & experience with Meritage. ****Update*** I changed my 5 star review down to 3 stars due to the lack of follow-up on repairs after move in. After being here for a few months, it's almost impossible to get repairs done on original move in issues. Missed appointment dates & more promises of future repair dates. Some things have gotten done, but I'm still waiting on some minor issues. If you buy here, find out what paint color, grade, & sheen your house needs. Than go to Sherwin Williams and buy that paint. Meritage won't give you touch-up paint. Nor will you have any luck getting them to do any touch-up if you need it done. Meritage has finally hired a customer service rep to deal with warranty issues. I've just submitted a few more things. We'll see how long that takes? Update: I've now been here 6 months. The new Customer Service Rep has been excellent. Getting everything scheduled & the repairs taken care. I've updated this review to 4 stars.
