I've been banking with Fairwinds since i was a kid under my parents. For nearly a decade, we've been doing our commercial banking with them as well. Edith, Tanya, Sam, and Murphy have all been excellent over the years and they understand small business needs. From working with us initially to reverse finance personal vehicles for working capital, to fleet vehicle loans, to PPP assistance, and more... they've always come through. Company cards for employees - done. Even suggesting a revolving line of credit on hand we could tap whenever needed. They have literally been just as integral a part of our business as our insurance agent and our equipment rep.

I absolutely hate doing business with this bank location. The branch in Edgewater is better in so many ways! The staff in Deland finds every reason they can to not help their preexisting customers. They only show excitement if they believe that they can get a new loan out of you, but once that happens, when you would appreciate and need some help, they will not do it. The reasoning that is mostly used is, “the 1-800 number can help you with that, we no longer do A,B or C at the branch…..” If you are looking for impersonal robots with no ability to forward think or to be immensely aggravated, then the Deland branch and staff are your dream team.

Have been with Faiwinds for many years and have my home mortgage, checking and saving through them. The DeLand branch has always been helpful. Sam, Murphy, and the rest of the team at this branch have always been great.
