      I actually had a 100-star experience with Family First Funding, not 5-star. Five stars isn't a high enough rating to give what I experienced with this company, particularly Lisa Ashkenas and Derrick Billings. What I liked the most about working with them is that they were always around to pick up the phone and answer my questions. Lisa and Derrick gave me their personal cell phone numbers and said to call anytime with a question - and I did. Lisa has this incredible gift of explaining this complicated loan process in laymens terms. I really needed that and if you do as well, I would DEFINITELY recommend getting your mortgage with them. There was no part of my experience with them that was frustrating or wrong or suspect. It was great all the way through. I'm not sure how the rest of the staff there operates, but Lisa and Derrick were BEYOND fantastic for me.
